A new a job vacancy has arisen for a commercial leader and manager to head up our professional services operations for the European region of a growing software development company. Based anywhere in the UK or Europe, with extensive EU and Global travel, this role reports directly to the COO for Europe; the post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing management processes and procedures to effectively deliver client projects from cradle to grave, and then ensure efficient ongoing service and maintenance of client accounts.
This VP level role holds full accountability for all pre-sales, implementation, project and after-sales management activities within current and future European clients via a team of professionals spread across Europe. Our aim is to build upon the current operations to achieve a credible, cohesive and proactive team of technical experts and professional support consultants for our clients; Agentrics already has a strong client presence within the EU and a healthy future outlook, so it is vital that we develop and implement best practice processes and procedures to support this.
Key to success in this position will be the ability to quickly and effectively build internal and external working relationships, establishing trust and credibility through demonstrating keen commercial acumen, excellent project management and superior client relationship management skills. The post holder will need to be a strong manager and influencer, highly organised in their own work and in directing the work of others, a motivational leader and an excellent client service provider, well-versed in managing complex service level agreements.
A prior background working in a professional services and implementation role at senior level, particularly within a similar industry as ours (software as a service to the retail, supply chain, consumer goods, manufacturing and logistics) would be highly beneficial. Given that this is a senior customer facing European role, we feel we justified in asking that applicants be able to prove fluency in at least one other European language besides English (particularly French, German or Spanish) as well as proven experience working collaboratively within European business/consumer cultures.
