Our client works with professionals in 19 key roles at major companies providing proprietary research, consumer insight, consulting, events, and peer-to-peer executive programs.

Description:This role is part of the EMEA sales team for the IT client group. This individual drives the sales activity for our clients products into target client companies at the CIO and senior IT management level. The Sales Director leads a team of high-performing individual sales professionals. He/she ensures that each team member¢??s activity, development, and bookings goals are planned and met on a monthly and quarterly basis. The Sales Director ultimately drives sales by focusing the team on large accounts ($1 billion-plus companies) and developing the strategic selling skills of the team.

Responsibilities:¢??Achieve overall team sales goals through leading eight to 10 team members to achieve results.¢??Coach and motivate individual team members. Develop team members for current and future opportunities. ¢??Hire and develop new team members for future growth.¢??Develop territory plans, account plans, and call planners, and ensure adoption on your team.¢??Prepare sales forecasts and accurate pipelines.¢??Collaborate with other departments and sales teams to enrich business.¢??Maintain proper product mix ratio.¢??Utilize systems (Siebel) and solution-selling methodology. ¢??Act as a role model and leader win the sales organization. Promote a ¢??can-do¢?? culture and positive environment, advise reps on accounts, answer questions, and provide assistance when necessary.¢??C-Level selling and presentations to clients and prospective clients regarding products and services. Assist with presentations when necessary.¢??Manage the region as a business with appropriate expense and budget controls.

Requirements:¢??Ten years of relevant sales experience, with a minimum of five years of first-line sales management experience preferred¢??First-line sales management experience includes managing a region exceeding $10M in overall revenue and 10+ direct reports¢??Successful track record of C-Level solution selling in medium and large account management ($1 billion+ sales), including surpassing revenue goals and managing sales strategies¢??Demonstrated success in designing and implementing tactical sales initiatives through data and empirical analysis¢??Ability to build winning teams through coaching and mentoring¢??Ability to quickly absorb and grasp new concepts, such as rapid advancements in the IT industry¢??Strong prospecting, needs analysis, negotiating, and closing skills¢??Fluent in German and English¢??Ability to travel up to 50%¢??B.A. or B.S. required
