Job DescriptionThis position will be to develop and carry out tests on radio systems win the systems group. This group is an integral part of the wireless division of the company and areresponsible for delivering both overall wireless system design and radio hardware design for cutting edge client solutions. Specifics of the role will include: ‚? Development of the test equipment and test stations ‚? Testing, evaluating and proving the RF performance of the products. ‚? Develop test plans based upon top level product requirement specifications and engineering specifications ‚? Construct RF test platforms‚? Create automatic test programmes using Labview and MatlabUndertake the testing of prototype and development systems Requirements‚? Experience of RF testing and its relevance to ultimate performance. ‚? Familiar with RF test equipment such as spectrum & network analysers, signal generators, power meters and be able to construct solutions using RF interconnection blocks such as mixers, filters, splitters etc. ‚? Familiar with RF testing such as sensitivity, noise figure, adjacent channel etc. ‚? Be able to write test programmes in Labview, Basic (e.g HPBasic) or similar ATE langauages ‚?
