Purchasing Manager

They are now looking to recruit an experienced purchasing manager to carry out the following

• Defines and implements the purchasing strategy for his or her Company.
• Performs sourcing analyses (internal constraints, external risks, cost analysis, supplier market analysis etc.).
• Selects suppliers identifies best-in-class suppliers who match Company strategy and selection criteria.
• Is responsible for negotiations and resourcing in a cost cutting approach regarding purchase of components for volume production.
• Is responsible for the QCD follow up on the components of products currently in volume production, prepares QCD agreements.
• Helps to solve everyday issues or delivery problems regarding deliveries for volume production.
• Is the interface between project purchasing and Company purchasing.
• Participates in the selection of suppliers for each project validates the final choice and ensures that suppliers are integrated properly in the project.
• Is involved in purchasing marketing and activities for the group he or she is in charge of in liaison with each Company group leader.
• Handles purchasing administration (supplier files, Company data base etc.).
• Updates the performance indicators for his/her suppliers.
• Reports his / her results monthly.

Skills/Experience needed.

Experienced purchasing management background.

Ideally you will have worked in the automotive industry.

You will have a successful track record of making significant cost savings.

Excellent supplier management skills.

You will enjoy working in a fast paced intense environment.

Ideally you will be CIPS qualified, though not essential.
